3-Seen-Loipe

Length: 15.7 kilometers

Character: Easy cross-country skiing tour

The 3-lake trail is the most beautiful and snow-sure trail in the Bavarian Chiemgau region. It runs through the 3-lake area between Ruhpolding and Reit im Winkl. With its glistening snow, snow-covered forests and mystical lakes, it is also affectionately known as the “Little Canada” of Chiemgau. You start your tour directly at the Chiemgau Arena. Passing the Förchensee, Lödensee, Mittersee and Weitsee lakes, the trail leads through snow-covered forests back to the starting point. Enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery of the Chiemgau and a perfectly groomed trail under your skis.

Sonnenloipe

Chiemgau Alps

Duration: ¾ hours

Length: 4 kilometers

Character: Easy cross-country skiing tour

The Sonnenloipe is an easy and short tour between Ruhpolding and Reit im Winkl. The tour starts at the Mittersee parking lot and circles the Lödensee and Mittersee lakes. An insider tip is the Mitterseehütte, located directly on the lake. A perfect place to stop for refreshments that is only open in winter. Small delicacies such as cakes and soups can be enjoyed on the wonderful sun terrace.

Unterlandloipe

Chiemgau Alps

Duration: ¾ hours

Length: 4.3 kilometers

Character: Medium cross-country skiing tour

The Unterlandloipe in Inzell offers wonderful views. The approx. 4-kilometre trail starts at the Ferienpark Alpina and first leads along the Inzeller Filzen. After a short run, it goes uphill through the snow-covered winter landscape. The highest point is reached at the Ruhpolding junction. Enjoy the wonderful view and the winter panorama for a few minutes. The Unterlandloipe trail continues past the Kessel-Alm. The Panorama sun terrace is the perfect place to stop for refreshments before you return to the starting point of the circular trail.

Tobias-Angerer-Loipe

Duration: 3 1/2 hours

Length: 12.8 kilometers

Character: Medium cross-country skiing tour

The Tobias Angerer trail is located directly on the Hochberg near Traunstein. The trail was designed together with the overall World Cup winner in cross-country skiing Tobias Angerer. The moderately difficult trail is suitable for beginners and advanced skiers. Thanks to its elevated location, you have a wonderful panoramic view of Traunstein, Lake Chiemsee and the Bavarian Alps.

Chiemgau-Team-Trophy

CROSS-COUNTRY SKI EVENT

Chiemgau Alps

Duration: 5 hours

Length: 43.4 kilometers

Character: Difficult cross-country skiing tour

The Chiemgau Team Trophy trail is a challenge for every cross-country skiing pro. The 40-kilometre trail starts at the Max Aicher Arena and runs from Inzell via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. It starts directly with an ascent which then leads downhill towards Ruhpolding. The trail continues through the 3-lake area, embedded in a wonderful winter landscape and snow-covered forests. Steeper ascents and longer descents follow again and again. Passing the Weitsee lake, the trail heads towards Seegatterl at the Winkelmoos valley station. After a few climbs, the finish line is reached at the cross-country stadium.

This enjoyable running event is a unique running experience in a fantastic natural landscape. Take advantage of the various refreshment stops along the route and enjoy the regional delicacies.
