In summer, the lake not only invites you to swim, but also to relax and enjoy. Our direct access to the water is intimate and absolutely unique for a hotel resort on the Chiemsee.

The excellent water quality of the Chiemsee contributes to bathing fun for the whole family. Further along the shores, there are a number of beaches and plenty of natural bathing spots. Take advantage of the numerous refreshment stops around the lake and indulge in culinary delights.

If you would like to admire the romantic sunsets by the lake, we recommend the two hotspots: Beach Bar or Sundowner in Übersee. With your feet in the sand, you can round off the day with cool drinks, BBQ food and chill-out music.

Explore the popular bathing spots at the Bavarian Sea and other alternatives for splashing around, diving and relaxing by the lake.

BEACH BATH ÜBERSEE

One of the most popular bathing spots on THE Chiemsee is the Beach Bath Übersee.

The area of around 40,000m² impresses with its wonderful views, great sunsets, many sports activities and a trendy beach bar.

The shallow access to the lake is ideal for small children and offers barrier-free access for wheelchair users. It is even possible to hire a sand wheelchair.

Two kiosks and a beach café provide you with a variety of tasty treats when you get hungry. You can borrow a sun lounger free of charge from the beach bar. Put your feet in the sand and enjoy a cocktail with the most beautiful view of the sunset on Lake Chiemsee.

BEACH BATH CHIEMING

The beach bath Chieming has many highlights in store!

A large bathing area promises undisturbed sunbathing and swimming in the lake. For the little ones, there is a non-swimmer area and a sandpit protected by a sun sail.

For sports enthusiasts, there are table tennis tables, a volleyball court and SUP rental.

Wheelchair users can easily enjoy the cool water using the ramp. Ask for a water wheelchair at the lido.

Sweet and savory snacks are available directly at the kiosk. If you are really hungry, there is an Italian restaurant with typical specialties and a recommended pizza.

THREE-LAKE-REGION

One of the most beautiful lake landscapes in Chiemgau is the three lake region. It includes the Weitsee, Mittersee and Lödensee lakes.

Far away from everyday life, the mountain lakes in the nature reserve offer a fantastic swimming experience. Crystal-clear water and natural idylls offer rest and relaxation. Thanks to its shallow lake access and large shore areas, Lödensee promises the perfect place for the family.

Sports enthusiasts will also get their money’s worth here. The three lake region is a very popular cross-country skiing route, especially in winter.

Der Wössner See

A true paradise for children!

Double water slides, a pirate ship, several surfboards and a wooden raft offer plenty of fun and games for children. There is also a designated non-swimmer zone for the little ones.

Culinary delights are provided by the Seestüberl with a large covered terrace. Bavarian delicacies and homemade cakes invite you to linger.

Der Taubensee

The “Eye of the Chiemgau” is one of the highest lakes in Germany.

The deep blue mountain lake can only be reached on foot or by mountain bike. In other words, an absolute natural idyll where you can relax far away from everyday life.

A hike or mountain bike tour should definitely be included in your plans. The rustic alpine pastures that are waiting for you to stop for refreshments. You can enjoy hearty snacks and a cool beer in the Taubenseehütte or in the Sauermöser Almen with wonderful mountain and valley views.

The mountain bike tours can be started from Schleching or Oberwössen.

 

 

Der Simssee

The Simssee vacation region offers above all peace, nature and relaxation. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, this is not the place for you.

Four free bathing areas make the lake a wonderful recreation area in summer. The Simssee is also highly recommended for a bike tour.

Culinary delights are provided by the Seewirt, the Simsseestuben and the famous specialty restaurant Gocklwirt, to which guests travel from far and wide.

Der Tüttensee

Pure nature at the Tüttensee!

In the middle of the forest you will find a unique atmosphere. Due to its size, the lake has a pleasant temperature.

Whether you prefer to relax or do sports, in or on the water, you will find the ideal opportunity to unwind here. From the 400m² terrace of the Seewirtschaft you have a wonderful view of the Tüttensee and the surrounding nature reserve.

Right next to the Tüttensee you will find the Tüttensee beach bath. Jetties and a swimming island make you want to jump into the cool water.
