Castell Winery

A wine village that is one of the oldest in Germany, the 26th generation of the royal family and a company bear the same name: Castell. Germany’s first Silvaner vines were planted in Castell in 1659.

Whether Franconian dry or noble sweet, Casteller wines always win through maturity and convince through longevity. That is why they mature in wooden barrels, which are made in the region according to traditional craftsmanship using oak from our own forests.
