Around the lake and also directly in Prien am Chiemsee, sailing schools offer their services to water sports enthusiasts who want to acquire their first skills or perfect their abilities.
If you would like to take a tour with your own sailing boat, you can make your wish come true on the Chiemsee. Alternatively, you can also hire a sailing boat on site.

Stand-Up-Paddling
Glide across the water standing up – with a SUP board you can experience and discover the Chiemsee from a completely new perspective.
With the SUP you can easily reach the islands of the Bavarian Sea, which are inaccessible for pedestrians and too far away for swimmers.
SUP is an athletic variety where you will have a fantastic view. Suitable for experts and beginners, SUP is not only fun right from the start, it also promotes balance and stamina.
You can hire SUPs right next door at the Schraml bathing area.
Canoe & Kayak
Paddle into the sunset….
The glittering “sea” and a variety of landscapes that bring the Chiemgau nature to light. Explore the numerous bathing bays with their mysterious places that can otherwise be challenging to reach.
You can sail directly from the hotel’s own beach to the Herreninsel, Fraueninsel or Krautinsel. But if you want to find out more about the Chiemsee and its hotspots, you can book a guided adventure tour.
Kayaks and canoes are available directly to the left of the hotel at the Schraml bathing area.
